Can we gush?? Introducing "My Fair Fairy"

As most of you know, I have a toddler. Ava will be two in September and for almost a year now, she has been trying to wear or 'put on' just about everything she can get her little hands on. Whether it's mommy's shoes, daddy's shirts, her big brother's hats or even the dish towel.....she wants to wear it. I realized very quickly that this little one was going to need a big dress-up trunk! Well, what do you do when you can't quite find what you are looking for? You make it! Or in my case, design it.J Maybe it's the fact that I danced half my life or maybe it's the fact that I've spent the past 12 years raising my son or maybe it's the fact that.....(okay I'll admit it).....I'm a little bit of a princess sometimes......but give me something sparkly, sweet, feminine or whimsical and I'm pretty much smitten, especially when it comes to my daughter. I know I am not the only Mom out there looking for something sweet, special and unique for her little angel. This is why, Nosilla Organics is proud to introduce "My Fair Fairy." Okay, I'm in full gush mode now. See Ava below in our new Pink Little Blossom Fairy Dress!!

Above Ava is wearing our new Lilac Little Blossom Fairy Dress. Cute right? I know.....totally gushing here. Both our Lilac and Pink Little Blossom Fairy Dresses have gorgeous full tulle skirts, shirred elastic bodices for a flexible fit, soft tulle fairy wings and delicate sequins sewn all over. Love it! We haven't forgotten the bigger fairies though. Our Sweet Bloom Fairy Dresses (Fuchsia Sweet Bloom Dress seen below) come complete with soft wire wings, satin ribbon shoulder bows and an extra long skirt lined in ribbon. Just gorgeous! 

Of course, our little fairy dresses are fair trade and they have been hand made with love. We hope you love our new Fairy Dresses as much as we do and that your little princess twirls and dances in delight when she is wearing hers.

 

Spring Is In The Air!!

Speaking of 'perfect spring days'........Just this past Saturday, Mother Nature was giving us a taste of what's in store for spring weather this year. The birds were singing, frogs were croaking, lawn movers were cutting and it was warm! Really warm!! During the warmer months, our family typically spends as much time outside as possible. This means, playing, eating, resting, working....(okay I admit it, I can sometimes be caught in the back yard with my laptop)......We pretty much do everything but sleep outside!

Our daughter Ava's favorite new outside activity is bouncing in the trampoline. She is just 19 months so this is quite the funny scene. Her play time consists of lots of running around in circles, the odd bounce with goofy imp smile, than over to mom for a 'spark' kiss. This is the whole joke for Ava as all the running creates quite a lot of static and of course when she gives me a kiss it comes with a gentle spark. This makes her laugh with delight and of course I am in stitches as well at her adorable baby joy. Saturday was so beautiful outside, it seemed the perfect opportunity to grab some quick shots of Ava in some of our new spring styles while enjoying her favorite new game.

I have to say, our tunics are one of my favorite styles because of their flexibility in being worn as either a dress or tunic and our new Cherries print is certainly one of my favorite new spring prints. I love love love our new Cherries print!! The inspiration behind this print was a little woven dress I wore as an infant with bright red strawberries all over it. (See below :)

 I must have worn that little strawberry dress most of the summer as it appears in quite a few pictures! I think little Ava will likely be photographed in her Cherry Tunic quite a bit too! Our Cherry Tunic and matching Capri pants will be in stores and on our website next week as will the rest of our spring 11 line. Looking forward to sharing all of our new styles with you in the coming weeks!

Hello hello and Happy New Year!

Pheeeewww....what a world wind the last few weeks have been! Although it's been the holidays, we've been busy finalizing details for our fall 11 line (which in our opinion :) is our best season yet and we've been working closely with our wonderful factory in India on spring 11 production.  Spring 11 won't be available till March but here's a little sneak peak......

As always, we have focused on comfortable and practical play wear in fun, sweet and whimsical prints while maintaining our commitment to our social and environmental responsibility.

We've got lots on the go here at Nosilla Organics and look forward to sharing it with you in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, thank you for your continued support.  You are helping us make a difference.

Nosilla Organics ~ Today's Cutie in Our Clothes

Meet baby Juniper.  Her mommy Chelsa, was sweet enough to send us these absolutely delightful pictures of baby Juniper wearing three of our Striped Beanie Hats.  Chelsa tells us they "love love love them" and "Juniper wears her hats almost everyday!"  A big thank you to Juniper and Chelsa (and Dad too :) for sharing their pictures with us.  We smile every time we see them.

Meet Katie. She is the absolutely adorable daughter of Tammi who blogs at My Organized Chaos.

We can't say enough about Tammi. She is one busy mommy! Tammi has 3 little beauties all under the age of 6....(her two youngest are twins.) Tammi recently wrote a wonderful review about our Black & White Floral Button Dress. Read Tammi's review here! Tammi says Katie is a total little fashionista and just adores clothes! Even noticing when someone is wearing new ones with a remark of "nice!" and a look up and down!! I mean, how cute is that?!? Tammi shares that her twins love to twirl and dance in their dress and just picturing this makes us grin from ear to ear.
